The Meagher family tomb is in Faithlegge cemetery just a few mile east of Waterford city and quite near to the Meagher seat at Ballycanvan.  Faithlegge is marked with a letter X on the map of east Waterford, below.  

 

 

The table tomb is at the back of the cemetery to the left of the church as you view the church from the roadway.

the wife of

THOMAS MEAGHER of the CITY of WATERFORD

who departed this life

on the 28th day of February 1827

Aged 28 years

Her Soul through the Mercy of God rest in peace Amen

Also of

THOMAS and MARY JOSEPHINE

Two of their Children who died in their Infancy

In this Vault are also deposited the bodies of ALICIA

daughter of THOMAS and ALICIA MEAGHER who

died on the 24th July 1834 aged 7 years and of THOMAS

MEAGHER formerly of Balley Canvan who died on the

26th January 1837 aged 78 years and MARY his wife who died on the

29th November 1831 aged 77 years May they rest in peace Amen

HENRY MEAGHER died 14th

February 1838 aged 46 years CATHERINE wife of

THOMAS FRANCES MEAGHER died

9th May 1854 22 years R.I.P.
